Tuesday Book Review: Playing for Pizza
This John Grisham novel was mildly entertaining. I find myself reading all of his books even though I know that they are all the same. He isn't an amazing author but all the same I enjoy them.
This novel goes against the Grisham style of being a young lawyer in the South. This novel is about a washed up NFL player that goes to Italy to play in an American football club. Everything about the players situation is crazy but he still wants the dream of being a super star in the NFL, instead he finds that he loves playing for this football and relishes his small celebrity.
I ended up skimming a lot of the book, too much football for me. But other than that, entertaining and a relatively quick read
