Aidan and Grandpa Jeff

So I just figured out how to upload videos. This is an old one. It is from my birthday (June 25) but its a goodie. Listen for Aidan's cute little giggle in the background. The interaction between Aidan and Grandpa is hilarious.

Aidan and the Bath

Aidan got a bath from Grandma. Grandpa wanted to come and check everything out. Aidan loves the water. He loves the bathtub and he totally loves his Grandparents.

Aidan and the Floatie

Aidan loves to go swimming. He loves to splash and have fun.

Aidan thoroughly enjoyed his freedom in his big boy floatie. Hopefully soon he can be a confident swimmer. Brian and I hope to make sure that he enjoys water so much the Redfish Lake and the Salmon River will be a breeze.

St. George/Vegas Weekend Fall 08

This last weekend was a blast! The Larson family headed to Southern Utah for a fun filled weekend. It all started on Thursday morning. I had to go to school to take a quick class and Aunt Rain came over to play with Aidan. He always loves it when people play with him. Then Aidan and I headed to SLC to go and get dad. We went inside Dad's work for the first time and WOW! Aidan had a ton of fun! Dad's office had lots of boxes and wires. Aidan loves his wires. Then off we went. Aidan did pretty well for such a long drive. About Beaver we had to stop and let little Aidan get out his wiggles.

Upon arrival Aidan fun weekend began. He was spoiled and loved all weekend by Grandma and Grandpa Armga, Harrison, Jordan, Jake and Jake's girlfriend Courtney. Did I mention he loves attention?

On Friday Grandma Julie, Jordan, Aidan and I went shopping. I bought some much needed clothes. Then we all went back to Grandparents house for a relaxing evening. Nothing real special happened that evening except that Grandpa made his world famous chili. Yummy!!

On Saturday Brian and I headed to Vegas. We did some shopping and then tried to find Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's Vegas restaurant) but couldn't find it. So we ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Then we head to LVMS. We have become frequent visitors of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. On this particular day it was for the Craftsman Truck races. We got to go down into the pits and see pit row and the garages. It was so much fun. Then we headed back to our seats to watch the race. Just as it was getting started Brian got really violently sick. So we headed out. Never actually saw the race. We did wander around the parking lot for 90 minutes looking for the car. That was a joke from now on we will take a GPS reading of our location in that parking lot. Once we made it home we felt better and safe. About the time we arrived home we noticed that I had developed a horrible rash on both of my legs. We figure it was some kind of a heat rash. I still have it and it itches very bad. Brian and I have begun to refer to this weekend as our Mulligan. (If you know golf terms you know what it means otherwise....it means we let it go...our weekend of Oh wells and Whatever.)

On Sunday we just kind of played everything by ear. We took our time getting ready that morning. We did some laundry and took our showers. Brian stayed behind to work on the Grandparents' computer. Everyone else went shopping. I bought boring stuff like storage containers at Wal-Mart (explanation to come) and baby diapers, wipes and formula at Costco. The we went and had Dad's goolash for dinner. I washed lots of baby clothes and then sorted them according to age and put them into the storage containers. Not too long ago Grandma Julie was driving around up in Enterprise and drove past a yard sale with lots of baby boy clothes. She started looking through them and the owner of the clothes said the whole box is yours for $10. It was a huge box of really cute clothes. Aidan won't need clothes until his is five at this point.

On Monday we woke up relatively early (9AM) and got ready to leave town. Brian had scheduled to take some computer certification tests in Cedar City. While he took the tests, my old mission buddy Jamie Anderson stopped by for a chat. She is too cute. And Aidan just loved her to death. We hope to see her again soon. The ride home went amazing. Between St. George and Cedar Aidan slept. Then he played in the grass for an hour with Jamie. Then he slept from Cedar to Fillmore. Then he got his wiggles out in the grass. He slept again from Fillmore to Alpine and then he played and giggled and watched the scenery outside. Then about Woods Cross he fell asleep again. WOW! Can we say busy busy weekend!

Thanks to everyone for playing with us.
Bathing little Aidan. He sure does love his Grandparents.
Aidan loved it when Grandma fed him. She fed him the yummiest oatmeal, peas, applesauce and sweet potato meal ever!Driver introductions is as far as we got at the races. Oh well maybe next year.

Aidan loved playing. He became quiet fond of the corner. He started doing playing in the corner while Brian and I were in Vegas. Don't know why he loved it so much he just did. I thought that maybe he had been bad and he was in time out but the Grandparents said no. Thank goodness!

My Pride and Joy

I just wanted to take some time and show off my baby. Here are some of my favorite pictures of Aidan. I have been slacking on the picture taking but I vow to be better.
This is Aidan sitting in his crate. He enjoys being in there as long as he can use a blanket and he determines his time limit. Cute alternative to a play pen. I think every baby goes through a crate/box/laundry basket phase. My crazy army baby. He kept being silly and trying to put his pants on his head like it was a hat. So I put it on his head and tied the legs in a knot so he would look rough and tough. Did it work?

The cutest thing ever is Aidan watching his daddy play Xbox live. He wants to be big and play big boy games with his daddy. He tries to talk back to the television (which is how he can hear Brian and all of his friends play). So cute to watch him watch Brian on Xbox live.
My handsome little man already for church. He is usually bare foot because his feet are so big I can't keep them on his feet. Isn't he soo cute?

So there is some pictures of my baby. I am so blessed to have him and his daddy. I am so happy that they are so wonderful. I love them sooo much!!!

Family

This weekend my parents, brother Harrison and his girlfriend Jordan came up to help my beloved Aunt Suzie move into her new house. It was a lot of work but it was so much fun. We had so much fun having a B B Q later that night. Brian borrowed a grill from his grandmother and Harrison cooked the meat. Hamburgers, hot dogs and brats. I miss getting together with everyone and just hanging out. We have tried to do it other places but it has always been so cramped and tight. I hope Suzie realizes that with her buying such a nicely sized home she is going to be bombarded with hotel reservations, restaurant reservations, football parties, poker nights, etc. etc. I loved seeing everyone. Aidan had so much fun playing with everyone and crawling around on her grass. I am incredibly jealous. I want a house to have parties at. Brian keeps telling me soon....soon darhling. We have been meeting with a realtor, so it really should be soon. Thanks Suzie for buying a house and letting me play with you!!!
