How did we spend our New Year's Eve 2009? Like a boring old married couple. But that's okay. We really didn't want to go anywhere or do anything. What little we did do was nothing remotely close to spectacular. When Brian got off of work we went to Wal-Mart. Brian got his first big check from his job, and we spent money on groceries. We had depleted much of our food storage, so trust me we needed it. After that we came home did nothing. I read a book. Aidan watched television and Brian played on his laptop. Just about the time that we decided that nothing fun was going to happen that night, Aidan worked his magic. He dragged out the drums to Guitar Hero and started singing and dancing and playing the drums, to nothing in particular. Then he went to move it again and it made a funny noise. Brian, ever the investigator started taking it apart to look at stuff and we found the noise maker. When we played at Suzie's house last weekend, apparently Aidan stole some pieces to her music box/Christmas village thing and put them inside the drum set. Have no fear! We have them in our possession and soon enough they will be returned to there proper owner. Sorry again Suzie! And then that was it. Nothing spectacular I say!
