Building project....picnic table

I have wanted to make one of those fun picnic tables from my childhood for a while. They are so simple and easy. Perfect for little kids and traveling. You can break it down into 8 pieces and take it anywhere. They are wonderful. I am so glad that Grandpa came over to help Brian finish it off. I helped for a while and then Aidan got upset so Grandma and I went to tend to the child. We had a lot of fun...

I am so super jealous. You have no idea. Mostly for the bonding moments with Grandpa. I remember building my barbie house with my sweet Grandpa. You are so lucky!!

GREAT IDEA! I don't know I didn't think of that! I have been trying to come up with an idea to let the kids eat outside.. I have two table, no chairs.. That would be PERFECT! How much was all the wood, etc..?

We have the pattern and everything. We used just basic plywood ( $12 ) at Home Depot. Or I think that we could make you one for like $20 (we bought stain and stuff to sand them down with). Or if you want....maybe a Christmas present?
